Partnering with organizations

to preserve wild places.

Spreading awareness for the bears is a big team
effort. During Kodiak Keep It Wild launches, we
partner with artists who create exclusive items
for purchase, with 100% of the sales from those
items going to organizations that support
wildlife and the land. So, you get to rock limited-
edition, one-of-a-kind gear, and support bears
and their habitats. Win, win scenario.

WHY THE BEAR?

Ever wonder where we got the name “Kodiak” and
why we have a bear on the box? And what’s that got
to do with conservation? Funny story...

Sparks our Mission

Kodiak’s Origin

We wanted to capture the feeling of living active,
daring, adventurous lives when eating a hearty
breakfast. And putting a bear on the box made it
feel that way. Later, we discovered that bears are
an indicator of a healthy, vibrant ecosystem, with
plenty of food to forage and space to wander. And
that concept really hit home, because to us, a
pantry stocked full of real and nourishing food
signals a healthy, active lifestyle.
Wild places spark inspiration to live wide-open
lives, and it’s one of the main reasons we’re
located in Park City, Utah. So to preserve wild
places for future generations, we’re partnering
with organizations like The Vital Ground
Foundation and Katmai Conservancy,
dedicated to spreading awareness and
furthering wildlife conservation.
